SPLASH has the body of a foundation QH with lots
of muscle and substance, a trim neck and pretty head with large hazel eye
and small ear. From the TB he got the long stride and smooth, graceful
movement with speed if you want it. SPLASH was well-trained for pleasure
at 2 and 3 at which time the trainer was certain she could make him an IBHA
Champion, but didn't wish to haul a stallion and we didn't want to geld
him. so he was not shown. He's very mannerly and is easily handled by
myself, a 66 year old woman. I have no problem breeding him on a lead rope
and he's very fertile and knows his job. He pastures or stalls. He's very
good with farrier and vet, sound, no vices and in great health. He has
excellent, correct conformation and a wonderful, calm, people personality
that makes him easy to love and a joy to work around.
SPLASHLYTE was raised here on our farm so is
related to most of our mares. He's had limited breeding to 2 unrelated
mares that are now too old to breed so he is just a pasture ornament and too
good for that fate. He has produced from all bay or brown mares, 1 16H
palomino colt that matured at 16H (sold for $4500 green broke), 5 buckskin
fillies that are big, beautiful and show quality that we are now starting
to ride and plan to keep. 1 tall seal brown colt. All are nice movers, have
speed, size, looks and substance and are smart and athletic.
SPLASH is perfect for the small breeder who
wants to raise quality, all-around prospects with color and conformation.
His offspring will excel in the show pen, rodeo arena, on the ranch and
anywhere a horse is needed for a job.....jerk a steer, rope a calf, barrel
race, trail ride, move cattle, team pen or polo....they all have the speed
if you want to use it.
Price is negotiable as we are motivated to find
him the right home and situation.
$6500 OBO.
