Notes: Delilah is a very pretty mare that will make an awesome broodmare or that someone with experience can work with to ride again. We have owned her for two years but haven't ridden her much at all due to the fact that she wasn't as nearly welltrained as we were told when we bought her. This was a great disappointment because we bought her for our young daughter as the next step up from her pony. We even sent her out for additional training but it just never worked for them. The trainer had used her to sort cows and he said that she had great natural ability and really seemed to enjoy it. At this time, we are selling her as unbroke because it has been so long since anyone has been on her. She is current on vaccinations, deworming and has a negative Coggins from April of last year. She ties, loads, trims and trailers all very well. She can be a bit headshy and seems to prefer men to women. She is low in the pecking order of our herd of two other mares and two geldings, very passive. We may be somewhat negotiable on price, we have much more than the asking price into her at this point but want to find a good home where she can find a use. We may consider a trade or partial trade for a VERY wellbroke, sound and healthy smaller horse/large pony for our son.
